  • Move the top card from any tableau pile, reserve pile, or the waste pile to a foundation pile, following the building rules below.
  • Move the top card from a tableau pile or the waste pile to an empty tableau pile (if any).
  1. Building on Foundations:
  • Ace Foundations: Build up in rank (Ace → 2 → 3 … → King), regardless of suit. Only the next higher rank is allowed.

  • The top card of the waste pile is available for play to foundations or tableau.

Winning the Game

You win when all 104 cards are successfully built onto the eight foundations, completing each from Ace to King or King to Ace as appropriate.

  • Reserve Piles: Only the top card is playable. Once empty, reserves cannot be refilled.

  • Waste Pile: Only the top card is available for play. Waste remains empty until more cards are dealt from the stock.
  • Legal Moves: Only one card may be moved at a time; moving sequences is not allowed.
  • Unwinnable State: The game is lost if no legal moves remain and not all foundations are complete, especially after the stock is exhausted.
